BLACK AND INDIGENOUS LIBERATION DAY 2020

Our coalition was born on October 12, 2020, in the framework of the commemoration of 528 years of indigenous and Afro-descendant resistance.

As part of this day of resistance, we held related events in Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, the United States and the Spanish State.

More than 140 grassroots organizations in 12 countries participated in these days of cultural resistance.

For these sessions we produced more than 13 hours of live broadcast of interviews, discussion forums and anti-colonial artistic interventions.

Below you can find the memory and record of the first Black and Indigenous Liberation Day.
