BLACK INDIGENOUS LIBERATION DAY 2022
Día de la Liberación Negra e Indígena

10, 11 & 12
OCTOBER 2022

As the Black and Indigenous Liberation Movement, our struggle is intersectional, transactional, antiracist, community feminist, Afrofeminist, Maroon, African womanist, of diverse political identities in communality. We seek to highlight and question the undeniable relationship between colonialism, capitalism, patriarchy and racism. For this reason, we claim the autonomy of our bodies and recognize the complementarity of those of us who inhabit the territories and the participation of women and dissidents for the defense of life, the territory and the preservation of ancestral wisdom and knowledge.

OUR WORK

In order to influence each of the Organizations and territories, for 3 days we worked different topics:

-Historical Repairs

-Racial and Climate Justice

-Mutual Solidarity

-Youth Action

ACHIEVEMENTS 2022

We work on a collaborative statement on order to amplify Indigenous and Black social and environmental justice, in order to challenge the systemic racism embedded in our social structures.
